‘I, Too, Sing America: The Harlem Renaissance at 100’, co-published by the Columbus Museum of Art and Rizzoli Electa, celebrates landmark of American culture

A new book, published to accompany a major exhibition organized by the Columbus Museum of Art, surveys the sweeping accomplishments and astonishing creativity of the Harlem Renaissance on the occasion of the movement’s centenary. The book shares a title with the exhibition – I, Too, Sing America: The Harlem Renaissance at 100 – which derives from a 1926 poem by Langston Hughes entitled I, Too. The exhibition runs Oct. 19, 2018-Jan. 20, 2019. See all
