Princeton University to Present Installation by Ai Weiwei

PRINCETON, N.J. — The Princeton University Art Museum announces that it will install 12 monumental sculptures by the renowned contemporary Chinese artist, architectural designer, curator and social activist Ai Weiwei at the University’s Scudder Plaza, in front of Robertson Hall, home of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. The presentation of Ai Weiwei’s Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads will be on view from Aug. 1, 2012 to Aug. 1, 2013 and is part of a world tour of the work, which has appeared in cities including Sao Paulo, London, Los Angeles and Taipei.
